Jonathan Wigley, CEO of Absolute Hotel Services Group, an affiliate company of BTS Assets, announced the opening of the flagship for the Eastin Hotels brand - the Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn scheduled to open on 1 December 2011. The hotel has been developed and is owned by BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited.

The Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn is well located in the Sathorn business area as well as being just minutes from and enjoying views of the world famous Chao Phraya River. The Hotel will enjoy its own Sky bridge linked to the Surasak BTS station which will make getting around the city a breeze.

The 390 rooms consisted of 357 Superior rooms, 30 Deluxe rooms and 3 Suites with room sizes ranging from 30 – 78 sqm.  Rooms are designed for functionality and equipped with luxury amenities necessary for business and leisure travellers.  All rooms and suites will have fantastic views of the river or Bangkok skyline.  The Eastin Grand Hotel also features a family floor with facilities for families with children as well as an Eastin Executive lounge on the 28th floor.

Guests and outside patrons can enjoy superb meals at any one of hotels’ three restaurants. Mediterranean cuisine will be served by the infinity swimming pool on 9th floor with panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River – a great place for entertaining your clients and friends.  The Chinese restaurant from Hong Kong ‘Chefman’ will serve Bangkok’s best Chinese cuisine, which will be located on the 1st floor with direct access link to the BTS station.  An all day dining restaurant is located on the 2nd floor and will be serving daily sumptuous buffets and multi ethnic a la carte items.  The lobby bar and lounge will be the perfect place to rest, relax and unwind. 

When it’s time for business or celebrations, the 1,400 square meter event and conference center spread over two entire floors with one grand ballroom that can be divided into three small rooms, three meeting rooms and two boardrooms and all areas have the benefit of natural light.  Other facilities in the hotel include fully equipped fitness center located adjacent to the swimming pool.
