Dusit announces appointment of new VP, Sales & Marketing

Ms Catherine McNabb, a former Director with the Singapore Tourism Board, will drive sales and marketing initiatives globally for the entire range of Dusit brands which include Dusit Thani, Dusit Princess, and dusitD2 hotels and resorts.

With her extensive cross-cultural management experience - within the public and private sectors in North America and Asia Pacific – combined with her solid commercial acumen and marketing expertise, we believe that she will successfully support our rapid expansion plans, with holistic and innovative sales and marketing solutions,” said Mr Chanin Donavanik, Chief Executive Officer, Dusit International.

A Canadian national, Ms McNabb brings to this position over 22 years of tourism and hospitality experience in Canada and Asia Pacific including positions with Tourism Toronto; Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts; New World Hotels and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. During her five-year tenure with the Singapore Government she was instrumental in the development of numerous iconic business events including the co-creation of ITB Asia (now in its fourth edition) in conjunction with Messe Berlin; Wildlife Asia Film Festival; and Champions of the Earth/Business 4 the Environment, in conjunction with the United Nations Environment Programme. She was also seconded to the Ministry of Community, Youth and Sports to spearhead the commercial development of the inaugural Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore in 2010.

Ms McNabb holds a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brock University, Canada. She was also the recipient of an undergraduate scholarship from the Albert–Ludwigs University Freiburg, Germany. She has partially completed a Doctorate degree in Business Administration.
