Cox & Kings launches new brochure

The world’s longest established travel company, Cox & Kings, has launched its new and expanded New Zealand and the South Pacific brochure for 2011-12 featuring a comprehensive programme of escorted group tours and private tailor-made travel. The new design of the brochure includes dedicated introduction pages for both New Zealand’s islands and for the South Pacific, with maps, weather charts, journey times and Cox & Kings’ recommended highlights.

Cox & Kings’ expanded brochure has extra tailor-made content and excursion ideas, showing how to combine different regions. Aaron Jennings, Cox & Kings’ Product Manager for New Zealand and the South Pacific, says, “We have given clients more excursion suggestions and by showing how to combine different regions, planning their perfect holiday will be easier. Our own regional recommendations on the new introduction pages might also suggest including places that hadn’t been previously considered”. All prices quoted are excluding any flights as this enables clients to take advantage of special offers from the airlines.

In the 2011 brochure Cox & Kings has introduced motorhomes for travelling in New Zealand. New Zealand by Motorhome is a new 23 day / 22 night self-drive private journey priced from £2,375 per person including a motorhome for 18 days. Also included in the price is 7 nights hotel accommodation and transfers where necessary. Auckland & Waiheke Island is a new 7 day / 6 night suggested package that can be incorporated into any tailor-made itinerary. With a picturesque blend of farmland, beaches, forest and vineyards, Waiheke Island is an ideal place to relax and recuperate from jet lag. On the South Island in the Fiordland National Park, the Hollyford Track guided 3 day wilderness walk is one of New Zealand’s best walks and is featured in Cox & Kings’ brochure for the first time for 2011.

Cox & Kings’ new brochure includes the luxury Paul Gauguin Cruises exploring Tahiti and the Society Islands. An 8 day / 7 night cruise visiting Papeete, Bora Bora and Tahiti is priced from £1,845 per person including all onboard meals.

Round the World Journeys. Included in the New Zealand and the South Pacific brochure for 2011-12 is a selection of Round the World itineraries, which show how some of the world’s most fascinating destinations can be combined in a single journey. From the Classic Journey Around the World, which includes Bangkok, Hong Kong, Sydney, Port Douglas, Fiji and Los Angeles, to the more unusual Nature Parks of the World, which visits India’s Ranthambore National Park, Australia’s Kakadu near Darwin and the Blue Mountains near Sydney and South Africa’s Cape Winelands, and Great Rail Journeys of the World, travelling on the Maharajas’ Express in India, the Eastern & Oriental Express through Southeast Asia and the Ghan in Australia.
