in2, the 3rd generation on-line Travel Technology Company, has signed an agreement to deliver on-line hotel reservations integrated within the Braathens Airlineå‘s reservation system for Telenor frequent business travellers.

Freddy Eriksen, Braathens’ Marketing Director, says that “The development is customer driven and is a clear indication of what the Corporate demand for their frequent travellers. We at Braathens will now integrate the in2 technology within our E-Pass reservation system to enable us to deliver products for ‘modern people on the move’.”
Vernon Kirsten. International Sales Director for in2 stated that, “This solution should go live 4th quarter 2000 and will place in2 as the leading on-line reservations technology provider in Scandinavia.

Most our research and development is conducted in South Africa and components of the in2 technology suite of products is the ‘backbone’ of companies such as City Lodge and InterRes.”

Kai Bardstu, in2 Marketing Director says, “The traditional travel agency business model as it is today won’t survive. Change is inevitable and in2 is already in negotiations with global travel partners to ‘bolt’ on the in2 technology to their existing on-line travel products.”

Kai further added that in2 is busy developing e-train, e-car, and e-travel statistics modules for existing Norway business/Corporates.
