Sabre Announces Agreement with flightserv.com Expands Access of Chartered Jet Seats to Sabre Connect

Sabre Holdings Corporation (NYSE: TSG) today announced it has joined forces with flightserv.com (Amex: FSW) to enable Sabre Connected business travelers to purchase individual seats on chartered private jets as an affordable alternative to fully refundable commercial airline travel. The partnership will provide access to flightserv.com’s proprietary Private Seats(TM) product through Sabre Business Travel Solutions(R), the leading Internet business-to-business travel purchasing system in use by more than 350 corporations worldwide.
“We are transforming the business travel marketplace by offering business travelers access to a better way of traveling,” said C. Beverly Lance, president and CEO of flightserv.com. “In the same way other Internet companies created new, dynamic and need-driven marketplaces between their constituents, we plan to scale our virtual business. The relationship with Sabre will make this scalability even more dramatic for flightserv.com.”

“Sabre’s goal is to provide a wide array of travel options to the business traveler,” said Nancy Raynor, senior vice president of emerging business for Sabre. “Our relationship with flightserv.com enables Sabre customers the ability to enjoy the benefits of a truly unique product—seats on private jets—from the travel resource they already use on a daily basis. This is another opportunity to provide Sabre Connected travelers with tools that make their business travel more convenient.”

Once the products and services are integrated, travelers will have easy access to the flightserv.com services through Sabre Business Travel Solutions(R). Sabre Connected travel agencies will also be able to access flightserv.com through Sabre AgentExplorer, a Web site that consolidates valuable travel information for travel agents—allowing them to provide helpful destination and specialty booking capabilities to their clients. Additionally, travelers will be able to access private jet itineraries booked via the Sabre computer reservations system through the Sabre Virtually There Web site, www.virtuallythere.com, a personal travel domain created for each Sabre traveler.
