, the specialised network installation and Internet services company, today announced the launch of a new Wi-Fi service for the French hospitality industry, based on Wificom
å‘s SAB Serverå? platform.

Founded in 1995, Passman offers a wide range of turnkey IT Services for the hospitality industry and other public and private market sectors. Passman’s clients include premium hotels and hotel chains such as Holiday Inn, Marriott, Best Western, Kyriad, Suitehotels, Novotel and Mercure.

Under its new service plan, Passman will equip hotel clients throughout France with WLAN networks and provide broadband wireless Internet access service to hotel guests and visitors. The key component of this plan is Wificom’s SAB Server?, which enables centralised management of distributed hotspot services.

Passman has already installed the wireless service for several clients and expects to use Wificom SAB Server? in about 60 hotspots in France by the end of 2003.
