Agentware Releases New Web Fare Search Technologies

AgentWare
has announced that it has released new versions of its web fare search technologies, Travel Console and WebPoint to an ever-expanding clientele of travel agencies and corporate travel departments in the US, Canada, U.K. and Caribbean.
WebPoint 2.0 is a web fare search technology integrated with Galileo Focalpoint®.  Travel Console 4.0 is a web fare search technology for users of other GDSs or agencies that do not require a GDS.

Travel Console 4.0 adds hotel room rate information from 15 different hotel web sites, as well as four new “agent-only” airline sites that pay up to 9% commission to booking agencies, bringing the number of “agent-only” sites to 6.  Administrators can now track purchases made with Travel Console via an online reporting feature.  Finally, AgentWare adds Destina.ca and ATA.com to expand the number of airfare websites in Travel Console to 37.  The AgentWare Travel Console is built to deliver a comprehensive view of fares and room rates to travel agents and corporate travelers.  Travel agencies can also choose to integrate Travel Console with their back office systems or into SABRE via a passive segment.  Travel Console provides administrative features to allow agency managers to add, delete and manage user accounts, as well as set global search parameters for their entire organization.
