The Jamaican Tourist Board has announced the forthcoming launch of a new dynamic, agent-friendly website, following a $400,000 re-vamp.
The new site will provide a wealth of information promoting travel to Jamaica including music, movies and interactive maps, to help even the most inexperienced traveller successfully research their future vacation destination or plan a business trip.
Paul Pennicook, director of tourism, described VisitJamaica.com site, as “easily the best brochure Jamaica`s ever had.”
www.visitjamaica.com shuns online booking capabilities in favour of listing its Jamaica Travel Specialists. Consumers have the option of popping up an agent in their immediate area by performing a zip code search; searches using other criteria will be available soon.
