Tiscover has consolidated its position in the German tourism market with a
contract to provide a website for one of Germany`s most established holiday
routes, the Alpine Road.

The new website (www.deutschealpenstrasse.de

), will deliver comprehensive
tourist information on the 450km-long Alpine Road, which goes from Lake
Constance to Berchtesgadener Land and stretches over the foothills of the
Alps.

Highlights of the region include its traditional farming villages, clear
mountain lakes, health resorts and castles in the foothills of the Allgäuer
and Bavarian Alps.

destination portals, with its sites in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and
Liechtenstein attracting over 57 million visitors and generating 225 million

believe Tiscover`s innovative technology and easy-to-use functionality will
allow us to expand our customer base and significantly increase direct
bookings.  Through the partnership we are set to improve our service both to

of the Alpine Road as one of Germany`s top tourism destinations.”

Karsten Karcher

, Tiscover`s executive director of sales, marketing and
finance said: “We are delighted to be working with the Alpine Road region
and are confident we will further increase the profile and profitability of
this popular tourist region. This partnership secures Tiscover`s position as
