Former Accor Hotels International Sales Director UK, Peter Haigh, has joined luxury global hotel group, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts in the newly created role of European Regional Director of Sales Operations. Based at the group`s worldwide headquarters in London, Haigh will report to Regional Managing Director, Malcolm Ross.
In his new sales operations role Haigh will work with the hotels` general managers and directors of sales to develop and implement the sales and marketing activity for the 43 hotels in the region, whilst working in conjunction with the European regional sales office teams, headed up by Regional Vice President of Sales for Europe & Africa, Meenaz Lilani.
In addition to his six-year tenure with Accor, Peter brings a wealth of experience to his new role having held senior sales and marketing positions with Marriott International; The Ritz, London; The Savoy Group of Hotels & Restaurants and The Dorchester, London.
