Frequent Guest Becomes Hotel Operator for BW

A regular Best Western Australia corporate guest was so impressed by the chain that he bought his own Best Western motel.

THE WORLD’S LARGEST HOTEL CHAIN® added the Best Western Motto Farm Motel in Motto, New South Wales to the Best Western brand in Australia.

Owner Les Merrett was a Best Western Australia Platinum Club member - the elite tier of the corporate loyalty rewards program comprised of the top 500 Best Western regular corporate customers.

“I spent a lot of time in Best Western properties, so I became very familiar with the brand and with some of the Best Western property owners and managers. This led to my decision to buy a motel of my own and of course, I immediately joined the Best Western chain,” Merrett said.

When asked what it was about the Best Western brand that so impressed him, Merrett said the key factor was the global Best Western Quality Assurance Program. “As a frequent traveller I know how important consistent standards of quality, service and facilities are to a guest and the Best Western program is undoubtedly one of the best in the industry.”
