Candlewood Suites` Fifth Pennsylvania Location

WICHITA, Kan. (June, 2003) - The Candlewood Suites - Wilkes-Barre opening marks the fifth Candlewood Suites location in Pennsylvania. The Wilkes-Barre property, owned and operated by 3K Realty, is led by the Kornfeld brothers: Rick, Ross and Mitchell. The hotel`s staff is led by General Manager Ellie Corgan.

Candlewood Suites in Wilkes-Barre is located in the Cross Creek Pointe Office Park at the intersection of Route 315 and Interstate 81 and features 72 guest suites: 56 studios and 16 one-bedroom suites.

Candlewood Suites offers larger-than-average guest suites that cater to the special needs of long-term guests, including a complete kitchen with full-sized appliances, 25-inch TV, large business desk, adjustable executive chair, two phone lines with data port and low-cost long distance. The Wilkes-Barre property also features high-speed Internet access in every room, a boon for business travelers. In addition, guests have access to free laundry facilities, free video and CD library and the Candlewood Cupboard - a 24-hour honor-based pantry with meals, snacks and sundry items at grocery store prices.
