The Thistle Inverness hotel opened its doors once again on Friday 22 November, following the extensive flooding earlier this year.
The 118-bedroom hotel, located close to Inverness city centre, was forced to close when a flash flood hit the hotel on Sunday 8 September, causing extensive damage to the ground floor of the property.

The Thistle Inverness hotel will be open to guests with accommodation and restaurant bookings from Friday 22 November, conference and banqueting bookings from Monday 9 December and the Otium Health and Leisure Club will be open in January 2003.

“Staff and contractors have been working round the clock to get the hotel open again and we are looking forward to opening with a brand new ground floor”, stated Gavin Paterson, general manager, Thistle Inverness.

To celebrate the re-opening of the Thistle Inverness, the hotel is offering rates from just £49 per room or £55 including breakfast per room until 31 January 2003.
