Execustay Launches Preferred Plus Housing Program

Washington, D.C. - Nov. 20, 2002 - Marriott ExecuStay Insurance Housing Solutions, a division of Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR), today announced that it has launched “Preferred Plus,” a temporary housing program that gives authorized claims adjusters with insurance companies the immediate and unprecedented ability to offer direct-billed, discounted hotel stays to displaced homeowners in 49 U.S. states (all but Hawaii).

Exclusive, discounted hotel rates at Marriott-branded hotels in 49 states, with complimentary breakfast for two in most locations;
One monthly direct-billed invoice for hotel stays;
The ability to smoothly transition the policyholder to long-term Marriott ExecuStay Insurance Housing Solutions temporary homes;
The benefit of working with a claim-specific, single-source temporary housing provider specifically designed to service insurance companies;
The ability to accommodate policyholders in temporary housing by providing a choice of hotels, homes, apartments, condominiums or town homes.
