Starwood Hotels & Resorts Declares First Quarter Dividend - A 16% Increase

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) announced today that it has declared its regular quarterly dividend of $0.20 per share for the Company`s first quarter ending March 31, 2001. The $0.20 per share dividend reflects a 16% increase over the previous dividend rate. The dividend will be payable on April 23, 2001 to shareholders of record on March 31, 2001.
