Ramada Franchise Systems, Inc. today announced the appointment of Mark F. Young to Vice President of Operations. Young, who previously held the same position at Horizon Hotels Limited, has a B.S. in Marketing from Boston College, a CHA designation and over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry.

“Mark is a perfect fit for Ramada and his ‘hands-on’ approach, warm demeanor and ability to turn ideas into action complement our strategic plans for the new millennium,” said Steven Belmonte, Ramada Franchise Systems President and CEO.

In an effort to better service franchisees, Ramada has formed a distinct operations division, which focuses on three main components: field marketing, training and technology. Comprised of 27 regionally located professionals, the division was created to increase sales volume and improve product and service quality.
