After “tens of thousands of surveys”, the readers of Travel + Leisure magazine have voted Park Hyatt Sydney as a winner of the sixth annual 2001 World`s Best Award.

At the Awards night in New York, Nancy Novogrod, Editor in Chief of Travel + Leisure Magazine, announced Park Hyatt Sydney as the number one ranking hotel in Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific. With previous top 10 rankings, Park Hyatt Sydney now holds the throne to the Best Hotel in the South Pacific region.
Readers have placed Park Hyatt Sydney on the top amongst quality competition such as “The Regent, Hotel Inter-Continental, and The Observatory in Sydney”.
This year has brought with it a string of achievements for Park Hyatt Sydney with a top 100 International Hotels Gold listing in Conde Nast, awarded Best Individual Hotel in Sydney by `Asia Money`, and voted top 20 International City Hotels by Andrew Harper in `Forbes Global Magazine`.
The Travel + Leisure 2001 World`s Best Awards will be featured in the August issue highlighting their well-travelled readers` choices for the best in travel around the globe.
