Louise C. Nelson has joined Hilton Hotels as director-corporate administration.

She reports to Thomas E. Gallagher, executive vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel for the company.

In her new position, Nelson is responsible for the administration and delivery of a number of corporate services. She will oversee the coordination of corporate systems, facility planning and the review and distribution of corporate policies. She will also be responsible for the administration of corporate support personnel.

Prior to joining Hilton, Nelson served as operations manager for the Los Angeles office of Co-Counsel Inc., the legal staffing subsidiary of the Olsten Corp. Her responsibilities included managing day-to-day operations of the company including business development and human resources. She was also responsible for recruitment and training.

Previously, Nelson practiced real estate law with Stern, Neubauer, Greenwald & Pauly in Santa Monica, Calif., and with Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro in Los Angeles.

Nelson has a bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of California, Irvine, and earned her juris doctor at Harvard Law School. She is a member of the State Bar of California.
