Latest Accolades Confirm Four Seasons Standing As Leading Luxury Hotel Company

It’s a three-peat. Four Seasons received more Five-Star Awards by the ExxonMobil Travel Guide than any other hotel company in the world. For the third year in a row, five Four Seasons properties won this distinctive honor. The winners are Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, Four Seasons Hotel New York, Four Seasons Hotel Boston and Four Seasons Hotel Chicago.

“It is gratifying to be recognized by ExxonMobil so prominently once again this year,” said Wolf Hengst, president, worldwide hotel operations, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “Our continued success with this award demonstrates the quality and consistency of the service we provide. We are delighted to be recognized by the exacting standards by which ExxonMobil grants the prestigious Five-Star designation.”

The winners of the ExxonMobil awards are chosen by an elite group of culinary and hospitality experts. Excellence in service, quality and ambiance are among the criteria for the award. The 39 Five-Star winners were announced Tuesday.

The Gold Standard

Four Seasons also figured prominently in Condé Nast Traveler magazine’s annual Gold List of the world’s best places to stay. Forty-two properties were listed, and several Four Seasons properties were noted in “best” lists including best food, best location, best activities, best rooms and best service.
