The 140-unit Quality Inn & Suites and Conference Center, located at 2 Susquehanna Dr., will hold an invitation-only grand opening/ribbon cutting on Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in conjunction with the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce “Business After Hours.”

The Quality Inn & Suites and Conference Center, which formerly operated as the Inn at Shamokin Dam, recently completed a $1.6 renovation, which included renovating guest rooms with new bathrooms, furniture and HVAC units. The renovation also included external renovations of the façade, redesigning the lobby and upgrading the banquet/meeting facilities.

The Quality Inn & Suites and Conference Center features spacious rooms with one king or two double beds, one and two-room suites with Jacuzzi tubs and corporate suites. Each room has a remote-control 25-inch cable TV with movies on demand, CNN and ESPN, telephones with data port, desk, in-room coffee, iron, ironing board and hairdryer.
