WASHINGTON - Aug. 28, 2002 - Ramada International Hotels & Resorts expanded its portfolio in Italy with the recent opening of the 82-room Ramada Fiera, the brand’s third hotel in Italy.
The Ramada Fiera is owned by Vegna S.R.L., which is controlled by the Fabbri Group. The Fabbri Group currently owns and manages seven three- and four-star hotels in Italy. These are located in resort destinations along the sea and in the mountains. In addition, the company has interests in a travel agency. The Ramada Fiera is the first internationally branded hotel in their portfolio. Biagio Fabbri is the general manager.
The Ramada Fiera is located in Verona, which was the setting of Shakespeare’s love story Romeo & Juliet, and is one of northern Italy’s most important economic centers. The hotel is located in front of Verona’s exhibition hall, within walking distance of the railway station and two kilometers from the center of the town and the famous Arena.
The hotel features a fitness facility, three conference rooms and 30 parking spaces. For dining and entertainment, guests may take advantage of the Oasis, which serves a light menu and carefully selected wine list.
The Ramada Fiera maintains Ramada International’s five pillars, which are:
The Guest Bath - is brightly lit and fresh-scented, with up-to-date fixtures, absorbent and fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries.
Exceptional Cleanliness - The Ramada Clean Team makes sure each and every area of the hotel shines, glows or sparkles. No detail is overlooked.
A Good Breakfast - is available from a menu with the most popular food and beverages, which were tested and chosen to suit the guests at each hotel.
The Guest Room - has the right mattress and pillow for a restful sleep, quality linens and pleasing décor that is well lit and comfortable; rooms are inviting and casual. Guest rooms have dataports and adequate electrical outlets, proper lighting and a work area so that business travelers can spend their time completing work rather than spending their time trying to understand and arrange their workspace.
Helpful, Friendly Staff - Hotel employees are enthusiastic professionals who understand and anticipate guests` needs. They are the guests` team and are always there to help answer any question. The associates are the keys to a guest`s satisfaction and the Ramada International guest experience.
Reservations can be made by calling any of Ramada International’s reservation numbers, calling the hotel directly, through a travel agent or through Ramada International’s Web site, www.ramadahotels.com.
In addition to the Ramada Fiera, Ramada International is currently represented in Italy by the Ramada Hotel Giardini Naxos in Sicily and the Ramada Hotel Venezia in Mestre.
There are currently 143 Ramada International hotels in 20 countries and territories.
