Dubai, June 2002: Dubai based luxury hospitality group, Jumeirah International, has recently announced the appointment of Mr. Guy Crawford as Corporate Director of Operations, based in the group`s corporate office in Dubai.

Mr. Crawford, (50) joined Jumeirah International from Heritage/ Macdonald Hotels where he held the position of Managing Director, overseeing the extensive portfolio of over a hundred hotels for the group in the UK and its strategic alliance with Grandes Etapes luxury hotels in France.

Before joining Heritage/Macdonald Hotels, he held the position of Managing Director for Heritage Hotels, a division of the Forte Hotel Group. Mr. Crawford held various senior management positions during his twenty-two years with the Forte and Le Meridien Hotel Group and has been based in South America, Monaco, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Morocco, the Bahamas and Belgium. He brings over thirty years of luxury hospitality management experience to Jumeirah International.
