Millennium Hotels: First Regional Director for France

Millennium Hotels and Resorts is delighted to announce the appointment of Veronique Holveck as Director of Sales, France.
Veronique has a wealth of experience in the European market. She began her career as Sales Manager for France and Belgium at Sol and Melia Hotels where she remained for seven years. She then moved to the NH Hotel Group, as Director of Sales looking after France, Belgium and Switzerland. She has also held the position of Director of Sales France for the affiliated brands of Utell International and spent three years managing the sales office for Golden Tulip Worldwide, Summit Hotels and Resorts and Sterling Hotels, with responsibility for over 900 hotels.

More recently Veronique has operated a business centre in the Opera region of Paris, working mainly with corporate clients and meeting planners. She comes to Millennium Hotels and Resorts from the 4 star Amarante hotel where she was assistant to the General Manager.

As Director of Sales, France, Veronique will be responsible for the worldwide promotion of the group’s three French properties (the Millennium Hotel Paris Opéra, the Copthorne Hotel Paris Charles De Gaulle and the Copthorne Hotel Coquelles - Calais) as well as all sales and marketing activities for the group as a whole in the French market. Veronique will be based at the Millennium Hotel Paris Opéra on boulevard Haussmann.

Commenting on her appointment, Tony Potter, Chief Operating Officer of Millennium Hotels and Resorts said: ‘We are thrilled to have Veronique on board. She has many years valuable experience working in Paris and has an extremely in depth knowledge of the French and wider European markets. I am sure she will become an outstanding member of our international sales team.’
