Best Western Opens New Call Center In Glendale, Ariz


Best Western International, The Worldå‘s Largest Hotel Chainå?, today announced the official opening of its new reservations center in Glendale. The 4,320 square foot facility is located on the corner of 59th Avenue and Olive Road which is on the north side of the Glendale Community College campus.

The new center employs 100 people and will take inbound phone reservations for Best Western’s 2,300 hotels throughout North America. In addition, the facility provides redundancy in the event of a power or systems failure to its existing reservations and information systems center located at 20400 North 29th Avenue in Phoenix.

“As a global hotel company with headquarters in Phoenix, we are proud to be able to provide employment opportunities through this unique partnership with Glendale Community College and the City of Glendale,” said Jim Evans, president and CEO for Best Western International.

Best Western International is the world’s largest hotel chain. As of the fiscal year ended Nov. 30, 2001, the company had 4,053 hotels in 80 countries and territories. Best Western is a membership association of independently owned and operated hotels that provides marketing, reservations and operational support to its members.
