AAdvantage Gets `Best B2B Web Site` Award

AAdvantage Marketing Programs was recently recognized by @d:tech, a premier event for interactive advertising and marketing, winning an award for the prestigious å“Best Business to Business Web Siteå”. 
This honor is the second in several months for the newly redesigned site at www.aadvantage.com . Earlier this year, the site also received an “Outstanding Site” award by the Web Marketing Association during the 2002 WebAwards.


AAdvantage.com was judged on several criteria by @d:tech

, including content, structure, ease of navigation, visual design, functional performance, interactive tools, use of creative advertising and overall customer experience.  The site launched in June 2002 as part of an extensive, integrated advertising campaign.  Both the campaign and the site were produced to increase awareness of the many marketing applications that AAdvantage Marketing Programs can offer.  These include driving customer acquisition and retention, increasing purchase frequency and ultimately influencing overall consumer behavior. 

“Our Web site is the cornerstone of our new advertising campaign,” said Jeff Zidell, vice-president of AAdvantage Marketing Programs.  “Therefore, we are thrilled to be honored with this award, which means we have created something very effective.”

The @d:tech Awards were designed to recognize and promote ground-breaking achievement in the creation, execution, and functionality in interactive advertising and promotion.  @d:tech has remained the premier event for interactive marketing for the past seven years.  Hundreds of entries compete in a variety of categories.
