and Unisys Corporation announced an agreement making Easy Ledger, the new Unisys PC-based accounting product designed especially for small-to-midsize travel agencies, Worldspan preferred back-office solution.

The new agreement is part of the companies` strategic partnership, formed in January 2001, to offer a comprehensive suite of accounting products to the travel agency community. Through the end of the year, Easy Ledger is being offered under preferred terms to qualified Worldspan travel agencies.

Easy Ledger is the most complete and robust desktop accounting solution available, with functionality designed to meet the daily accounting needs of small-to-midsize travel agencies. Operating on a stand-alone PC, Easy Ledger features a simple, user-friendly interface enabling fast, efficient back-office processes. Easy Ledger also gives agents the option of working in a graphical user interface Windows environment or a traditional “green screen” format.

Unisys provides travel agency accounting solutions for any size operation. World Ledger Powered by Unisys offers two options: a client-site system running on an in-house AS/400 computer or a centrally hosted solution, both created for larger agencies. The Unisys UniView reporting product, used with the World Ledger centralized solution, is designed for midsize agencies in need of a high-end corporate reporting tool. The new affordable Easy Ledger is intended for small-to-midsize agencies.
