StudentUniverse Offers Extreme Skiing Without Extreme Prices
Boarding and skiing just became more accessible to students planning to travel during the upcoming winter break.
StudentUniverse, the leading seller of deeply discounted student and faculty air travel on the Internet, today announced its “Extreme Ski” promotion, featuring affordable airfares for students from approximately 200 U.S. cities and lodging at many U.S. and European ski resorts.
StudentUniverse has partnered with Hostelworld.com
to offer lodging at some of the most exclusive snow sport destinations, including Aspen, Vail and Jackson Hole, in addition to ski destinations across Europe.
Through its partnership with Hostelworld.com, a provider of online bookings for hostels and tours, StudentUniverse is offering students the opportunity to ski at destinations that would normally be out of a typical student`s budget. For example, through StudentUniverse`s hostel booking engine, students can stay at the St. Moritz Lodge in downtown Aspen for $21 a night in a three-bed dorm, or $39 a night for a private room - $61 less than lodging at the Glen Springs Holiday Inn, outside of Aspen.
Sale airfares are available starting September 23, 2002 for travel commencing January 7 to February 7, 2003. All travel must be completed by February 12, 2003.
Sample roundtrip fares being offered exclusively through StudentUniverse include:
Washington DC to Aspen, CO - $216
Chicago to Vail,- $206
New York to Munich (Innsbruck) - $244
Los Angeles to Milan (Italian Alps) - $426
Minneapolis to Lyon (Chamonix, Meribel) - $433
