bmibaby to Launch Exclusive Website for Travel Trade

bmibaby
will be launching a dedicated travel trade website to enable travel
agents to directly book bmibaby flights on the internet.
The airline is
currently in talks with a number of major travel agents to develop its
relationship with the trade and open up a website that all of the trade will
be able to utilise to book seats on bmibaby flights.

Tony Davis, managing director, bmibaby said:

“We are extremely excited about now taking the airline
forward to better serve the trade. We are keen to develop a relationship
with the travel trade both in the UK and across Europe and will be
introducing a website specifically for travel agents, which we are really
excited about.

“Now that we are an established low cost operator we believe
we can be the best in our field and that is exactly what we are aiming for.”

The airline is also hoping to be participating in the travel trade and
agents booking systems by developing a Global Distribution System (GDS)
prior to the start of winter operations.
