Trek Holidays Joins Solarnet

SCS Solars Computing Systems Inc.
(”SolarNet
“), a leading provider of information management and electronic
distribution solutions for the travel industry, today announced the signing
of a Canada`s largest wholesale adventure company Trek Holidays.

Trek Holidays is one of Canada`s Top air consolidators with destinations
such as Asia, Africa and South America to name a few. To automate their
office Trek Holidays will use the Wings database to electronically manage
its airline contracts and LiveLinx*PLUS to receive bookings from the
Canadian travel agency community.

As previously announced, when Wings is combined with SolarNet`s
LiveLinx*PLUS product, SolarNet is able to provide previously non-automated
air consolidators, complete electronic management and integrated
distribution of their product information to travel agents. LiveLinx*PLUS
hosts a travel vendor`s database, has search capabilities, allows seat
availability checks and let`s the travel agent complete a confirmed booking
which is queued directly to Avila Tours. SolarNet make fares accessible from
the Internet as well as all four Global Distribution System (“GDS”)
networks: Sabre, Apollo/Galileo, Worldspan and Amadeus. This distribution
will allow both agency and home based travel agents complete access to
consolidated fares 24 hours a day seven days a week.
Manager at Trek Holidays air department Marianne Bradshaw commented “we
needed to make our fares available and bookable online, using the SolarNet
technology we can achieve both distribution and bookings. This is a
convenient and time saving tool our agents have requested, the SolarNet
solution is the answer.”
Bob Wilson, Director of Account Development said, “Trek Holidays adds more
content to SolarNet. Along with Skylink and Avila Tours Trek Holidays will
give the agents a much broader choice of airfares to international
destinations.”
