Site59 Names Damon Tassone as General Manager

Site59.
the industry leader in last-minute getaways and dynamic packaging technology, announces that Damon Tassone has been promoted to the position of General Manager.

Tassone succeeds Michelle Peluso, who has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Product Strategy and Distribution of Travelocity, a Sabre
company (NYSE: TSG). Site59 was acquired by Travelocity for $43 million in March
, 2002.


Tassone previously held the position of Vice President of Application Services (ASP) at Site59, where he negotiated and signed distribution relationships with leading online and offline travel companies. Tassone is credited with creating and developing the ASP distribution product from inception. Under his leadership, Site59 successfully partnered with and launched over 20 distribution sites during a 12-month period, including Travelocity, Cheap Tickets, Yahoo! Travel, Delta.com, NWA.com, American Airlines Vacations and others.


“As I assume my new role, I plan to continue our focus on expanding and growing Site59`s last-minute travel business,” said Tassone. “The past two years demonstrated the power of Site59`s business model to serve suppliers and customers equally well, and I expect the same high level of success going forward.”


In her newly appointed role at Travelocity
, Michelle Peluso will maintain overall supervisory responsibility for Site59`s last-minute business. Site59 will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary of Travelocity.
