America West Adds to Vegas Service

It`s one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready and four to
go ... and America West Airlines is ready to go today with additional
flights between its Las Vegas hub and nine markets. Those flights, which
are listed below, are part of the airline`s 2004 growth plan for a 10
percent increase in capacity. In celebration of the start of this service,
an Elvis impersonator will be serenading customers at airport gates as
well as providing entertainment with prize giveaways onboard America West
flights.
“Customers in nine cities can now enjoy new, nonstop daytime flights to
Las Vegas, one of the most popular destinations in the country and have a
little fun with The King along the way,” said Scott Kirby, executive vice
president, sales and marketing. “With the addition of these flights,
America West offers 100 daily departures to 41 destinations from its Las
Vegas hub. America West will further grow the Las Vegas hub on March 1,
2004 with the addition of daily nonstop service between Las Vegas and six
