Delta Air Lines Expanding Service in Albany

Delta Air Lines today began offering customers one additional nonstop
flight between Albany, N.Y., and Atlanta. The new flight is operated with
two-class, 142-seat MD-88 aircraft. With the addition of this flight,
Delta now offers customers four nonstop flights a day between Albany and
its hub in Atlanta.

“This new flight is timed perfectly for the business traveler who wants an
easy, one-day trip from Atlanta to Albany,” said Subodh Karnik, Delta`s
senior vice president—Network and Revenue Management. “It also gives our
customers in Albany another option for reaching our hub in Atlanta, where
we offer them more than 940 daily flights to more than 182 destinations.”

Delta is celebrating the new flight with customers today by giving
peaches, Georgia`s state fruit, to passengers traveling from Albany to
Atlanta, and New York-grown McIntosh apples to passengers traveling from
Atlanta to Albany, while supplies last.

“We`re having some fun with our passengers and putting them in a New York
or Georgia state of mind,” said Karnik.
