Northwest Announces Seasonal Service

Northwest Airlines today announced new seasonal Saturday-only nonstop
service between its hub at Minneapolis/St. Paul and Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The new flight will operate from March 6 through June 5, 2004.

“These new seasonal flights are timed for the peak golf season in Myrtle
Beach, and provide travelers with convenient connections to and from our
destinations throughout the Midwest, the western United States and Canada,
and the hundreds of cities we serve worldwide via Northwest and its global
alliance partners,” said Tom Bach, vice president of market planning and
Airlink.

“We are thrilled that Northwest is adding service to Myrtle Beach,” said
Brad Dean, president and chief executive officer of the Myrtle Beach Area
Chamber of Commerce. “This is the only nonstop service from Myrtle Beach
to a destination west of the Mississippi, and it opens up dozens of
markets that will now have easy access to the Myrtle Beach area and our
120 golf courses and 60 miles of beaches.”

The new service complements Northwest`s existing seasonal daily flights
between Myrtle Beach and Detroit that operate from Feb. 26 through Oct.
30, 2004.
