Delta Connection Marks 20 Years of Serving Knoxville

Delta Connection today celebrates 20 years of serving the Knoxville
community with convenient scheduled air service to Delta Air Lines` hubs.

Delta Connection carrier Comair initiated service in 1983 from Knoxville
to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, home to Delta`s
second largest hub. Today, Delta and Delta Connection carriers Atlantic
Southeast Airlines and Comair offer Knoxville-area customers non-stop
service to four destinations, including Delta`s three largest hubs in
Atlanta, Cincinnati and Dallas-Fort Worth. Delta Connection also offers
non-stop jet service to New York`s LaGuardia Airport.

“Our goal is to allow our customers to enjoy the convenience of frequent
flights and a seamless travel experience whether they are traveling on

The presence of Delta and Delta Connection in Knoxville during the last

provide an attractive, convenient location for business. In addition, more
than 30 Knoxville area residents are employed by Delta Connection carrier
Comair at McGhee Tyson Airport.
