DENVER (Aug. 14, 2003) - Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ: FRNT) today announced that it has signed a three-year agreement with Buffalo Sports Properties (BSP) on behalf of the University of Colorado, to serve as the exclusive airline marketing partner with CU Athletics.

As the exclusive airline marketing partner with CU Athletics, Frontier will receive commercial exposure on the Colorado Football Radio Network, Colorado Men`s and Women`s Basketball Radio Network and the Buffalo Stampede Television Show. In addition, Frontier will be given prominent signage at Folsom Field, Coors Events Center and Pleasant View Soccer Complex as well as featured sponsorship during CU events such as Colorado Basketball and Football game-day festivities.

“There is a very distinct kinship between the excitement that the Buffs bring to college athletics and the unique customer service that Frontier brings to air travel,” said Frontier`s Vice President Marketing and Planning, Sean Menke. “To be the sponsor of a great university athletics program such as CU`s is certainly an honor, and we intend to live up to that honor by bringing the University community closer with innovative and unique travel and sports packages for CU students, parents, faculty and alums.”

Frontier, already the sponsor of the 2003 Rocky Mountain Showdown, has committed to developing innovative packages and promotions designed to help connect CU`s students, parents, and alumni with the University. In addition, Frontier will provide the University with enhanced travel services and exposure to Frontier`s six million yearly passengers via DIRECTV, Frontier`s in-flight magazine as well Frontier`s e-mail marketing and Web site promotions.
