US Airways Independence Day Offer

ARLINGTON, Va., June 24, 2003—US Airways is celebrating the July 4th holiday with special sale fares, starting at $98 roundtrip, between Charlotte, N.C., Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C. and select nonstop markets in the East, Midwest, South and Florida.

To qualify for this special offer, tickets must be purchased no later than June 27, 2003. Travel must be nonstop, originating July 1-3 and returning July 4-5 or originating July 4 and returning July 5, 2003. Fares are available at usairways.com, from US Airways Reservations, and Sabre and Apollo travel agencies.

“These fares give our customers greater freedom to travel for the Independence Day holiday, at prices that make a last-minute trip easy,” said Stephen M. Usery, US Airways vice president of marketing and revenue management.

Fares listed require roundtrip nonstop travel in Coach Class. Depending on travel needs, flights may be available at the same fares with service on regional aircraft operated by US Airways Express carriers Allegheny, Air Midwest, Chautauqua, Colgan, Mesa, Midway, Piedmont, PSA, Shuttle America or Trans States. Depending on the itinerary, some or all flight segments may be operated by United®.

Tickets become nonrefundable 24 hours after making initial reservation, and under certain conditions may be changed prior to the departure of each flight segment for a minimum $100 fee. If changes are not made prior to midnight of the departure date of each flight, the entire remaining ticket will have no further value.

These sale fares do not include up to $9 airport passenger facility charges where applicable and do not include the September 11 Security Fee of up to $5 per itinerary. However, this Security Fee will not apply for tickets purchased between June 1 and September 30, 2003. Fares do not include a federal excise tax of $3, which will be added on each flight segment of each itinerary. A flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing. Seats are limited and may not be available during other very busy travel times. Fares for Washington, D.C. are valid to and from Reagan Washington National airport only.

These sale fares are not available in every market or on all flights. Other conditions may apply. These discount fares may not always be lower than other US Airways fares to select destinations.

Additionally, Dividend Miles members who purchase a roundtrip ticket online at usairways.com for the first time and complete travel by September 30, 2003, will receive 3,000 bonus Dividend Miles. Additional information and terms and conditions are available online at usairways.com/travel/reservations/index.htm.
