DENVER (June 10, 2003) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced it has reached an agreement with GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) to lease two additional Airbus 318 aircraft, scheduled for delivery in May 2004 and March 2005, and one additional Airbus 319 aircraft, scheduled for delivery in February 2005. With this announcement, the airline plans to operate 35 total Airbus aircraft by the end of the airline`s fiscal year 2005.

The airline also announced it has secured financing for its first four purchased Airbus A318 aircraft, which will be facilitated by a European financial institution. The airline plans to take delivery of four A318 aircraft during its fiscal year ending in March of 2004, and a fifth A318 in April of 2004.

As the first operator of the Airbus 318, Frontier will participate in a presentation ceremony on June 18 at the Le Bourget Airport, home of the Paris International Air Show. Frontier`s A318 is comprised of a single class of 114 seats, and will be available on static display during the Air Show. As is customary with all of Frontier`s aircraft, the A318 tail will feature a unique wildlife theme. The airline anticipates taking formal delivery of the aircraft in late July 2003.

Frontier President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Potter said, “It is an honor to be the launch customer of the new Airbus A318 aircraft. When we first selected the Airbus A320 family as our aircraft of choice, we were impressed with the operational synergies of the A319 and A318 aircraft. From flight operations to maintenance, we believe incorporating the world`s first A318 aircraft into our fleet will be seamless, and will provide the excellent air travel services our customers have come to expect from Frontier.”

The airline also announced it has taken delivery of its 18th Airbus A319, a 132-seat jet leased from GECAS. The aircraft, which features a photo of an ocelot on each side of its tail and on its winglets, was put into scheduled service on June 7, 2003. The wildlife photo was taken by W. Weiser, represented by Bruce Coleman, Inc. Including the airline`s 18th Airbus A319, Frontier`s fleet consists of 16 737-300s, three 737-200s and 18 Airbus A319s, for a total of 37 aircraft.
