Customers can take a spin on America West`s Wheel of Savings to receive up to a 50 percent discount on already low America West fares to 11 destinations in Mexico. America West is the largest low-fare carrier serving Mexico.

Now through June 9, 2003, travelers purchasing tickets between the United States and Mexico at www.americawest.com , for travel between June 2 and Sept. 30, 2003, will receive discounts on fares by taking a spin of the wheel. When customers spin the wheel, the price of their tickets will be reduced by a discount between five percent and 50 percent, depending on what is shown when the wheel stops.

America West, through its innovative Low Fare Finder technology, is the first and only airline to provide customers the low-fare search functionality on its Web site to search for fares on the customer`s preferred travel dates, as well as surrounding days, to offer customers the best available fare.

Discounts offered in the Wheel of Savings promotion are available only via the America West Airlines` Web site. Discounts are randomly determined. Odds of receiving any particular discount are: 5 percent discount - 67 in 100; 10 percent discount - 17 in 100; 25 percent discount - 2 in 25; 50 percent discount - 2 in 25. Customers who purchase tickets online can receive 500 FlightFund Bonus miles.

Discounts will not apply to: previously purchased fares; travel between Canada and Mexico; Passenger Facility Charges (PFC) of up to $18 per itinerary; U.S. international arrival/departure taxes; foreign departure taxes; customs and immigration fees; civil aviation security fee; Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) and tourism taxes; or any combined fees and taxes of up to $100 USD. Travel to certain destinations will be provided by America West Express, which is operated by Mesa Air Group.
