More Air Offers For

Following an overwhelming public response, Cathay Pacific is rolling out another 500 special $1,000 tickets on top of 2,000 the airline already pledged as part of its contribution to the “We Love HK” campaign, which aims to encourage local people to spend more money and give Hong Kong`s economy a boost.
Most of the 2,000 tickets available to Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul and Denpasar in Bali have already been redeemed by shoppers, who simply have to produce receipts worth $1,000 to qualify for the deal. The additional 500 tickets will be for the same destinations.

Emirates, is offering 200 tickets to Dubai for $3,000 and 400 tickets to Bangkok for $920.

Garuda Indonesia also put 500 tickets to Singapore, Jakarta and Denpasar on offer at $900, $980 and $1,180 each respectively. There are now 16 airlines enlisted in the “We Love HK” campaign.
Also in the air, six-minute joyrides with HeliHongKong are going for $330. The same trip will cost only $250 if booked with a local travel agent as part of a local tour. HeliHongKong is also offering 1,000 one-way tickets to Macau for $408 ÁV the usual price is $1,150.

TurboJet also has a special Macau $578 package which includes two return TurboJet tickets, a free pair of entrance tickets to Macau Tower, $50 discount coupon for the dinner buffet in the rotating restaurant and a go on one of the Tower`s games. Customers can bring along their HK$1,000 receipts to any travel agents to redeem the package.

Hong Kong Old Restaurant will give a 15 percent discount until 30 June. The Spaghetti House chain also announced its backing for the campaign, with all 21 restaurants taking part.

Details on campaign participants and offers can be found on the special www.welovehongkong.com Website, where traders wishing to take part can also download the “We Love HK” logo to display in stores.

PCCW is operating a hotline 1836 168 that people can call with any question about the campaign ÁV how it works, who is taking part, where to redeem special offers. The hotline will operate 9.00am to 5.00pm daily.

The “We Love HK” campaign was created by the Tourism Coalition of Hong Kong, which comprises members of the tourism industry, including the Board of Airline Representatives, Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners, Hong Kong Hotels Association and Travel Industry Council.
