Virgin Extends Premium Economy

Virgin Atlantic Airways is extending its Premium Economy sale fares from the US to London, starting at $806 plus taxes round-trip from New York, and continues to offer a flexible change policy for those passengers concerned with the Middle East crisis.

Premium Economy is a unique enhanced Economy product that Virgin Atlantic introduced over ten years ago, and has now become an industry benchmark for transatlantic travel due to its popularity.”

To qualify for these special rates tickets must be purchased by April 15, 2003 for travel beginning on or before June 18, 2003. Consumers will receive an additional $20 discount if they book their tickets online.
*Promotional Economy rates are for mid-week travel, and $25 surcharges apply each way for travel Friday - Sunday. Seven day advance purchase is required. Minimum stay must include a Saturday night and maximum stay is one month. Subject to availability and capacity controlled. Fares don`t include government taxes, fees and charges of approximately $127 for Premium Economy tickets, including the September 11th security fee of $2.50 per segment. No refunds permitted.
** Rules for Flexible Change PolicyApplicable to bookings made on or before April 8, 2003. Passengers may make one adjustment to their ticket due to concerns with the Middle East conflict. Reservations may be cancelled and tickets used as credit to future transportation. Passengers should retain their tickets to be used as credit towards their next flight with Virgin Atlantic which must be rebooked by May 31, 2003. All travel on the revised itinerary must be completed by December 31, 2003. The passenger will be charged for any fare difference due to changes in taxes, more expensive travel period, day of the week, booking class etc. Changes/cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to departure. All other restrictions/conditions must remain unchanged. Subject to availability.
