Air Canada Launches Worldwide Seat Sale

MONTREAL, March 13 /CNW Telbec/ - Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz today
announced great deals featuring fare reductions up to 30 per cent for travel
this spring and summer to more than 150 destinations worldwide, with an
additional saving of $2.50 each way for customers who book online for travel
to destinations in Canada and the U.S. The sale begins on Thursday, March 13
and continues until March 27, 2003. Travel to all Canadian and U.S
destinations must be completed by August 31, 2003, except for travel to
Florida and Las Vegas which must be completed by June 15, 2003, and the final
departure date for travel to international destinations is June 19, 2003.
Prices and booking conditions vary according to destination.
 
“By booking now, Air Canada customers will have the best choice of great
deals for travel this spring and summer to most destinations throughout Air
Canada`s network,” said Bill Bredt, Vice President, Network and Revenue
Management. “In addition, with the introduction of our `Peace of Mind` policy,
our customers can make their future travel plans to the U.S. and international
destinations with the confidence of knowing that they may postpone travel to a
later date without penalty, if circumstances warrant.”
 
Air Canada`s “Peace of Mind” policy would allow holders of discounted
tickets for travel booked during a 30 day period following the onset of
military conflict with Iraq to postpone travel without penalty to a later date
until December 31, 2003. The policy applies to U.S. transborder and
international travel on Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz, Tango and Air Canada
codeshare flights operated by Star Alliance partners as well as Aeroplan
reward travel. Regular travel restrictions on discounted tickets would
continue to apply for travel within Canada.

www.aircanada.ca, at www.destina.ca, through travel agents and Air Canada
Reservations at 1-888-247-2262. Reductions are based on lowest year round
published fares. Some fares are subject to government approval.
