We are pleased that the Competition Tribunal has ruled in our favour to acquire Air Chefs, our onboard caterers.

This is in line with our endeavour to improve customer service on board our aircraft.

When we become owners of Air Chefs on November 1, we will revamp the company, re-equip its kitchens in order to ensure that SAA customers receive consistent and superior customer service in line with our strategy of Perfecting the Basics.

From next month, Air Chefs, with facilities in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban and with a staff of 800, will operate as a subsidiary of SAA.
