SAA Assists in Bali

Bali bomb blast victim, Morné Viljoen of South Africa will have his parents by his side in hospital thanks to South African Airways.

SAA will fly Deon and Maureen Viljoen free of charge from Johannesburg to Perth, Australia where their son lies in Darwin Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit fighting for his life. Morné sustained 40% burns, a fractured skull and damaged lungs after being injured when a car bomb exploded outside a nightclub at Kuta Beach over the weekend. He was participating in rugby tour in Bali when the incident occurred.

“We are pleased to be able to assist the Viljoen family in their time of need by bringing them closer to one another,“said Victor Nosi, SAA Executive Vice President, Marketing and Communications.
