Aloha Airlines has named veteran journalist and public relations executive Stu Glauberman as staff vice president - corporate communications. In his new position, Glauberman will oversee Aloha’s corporate communications, including internal and external communications and media relations.

Glauberman’s career in journalism and public relations spans more than 25 years. He has worked as a reporter for the Anchorage Times, Honolulu Advertiser, Honolulu Star-Bulletin and The Straits Times in Singapore, and has been a contributor to such publications as the San Francisco Chronicle and People Weekly.

Prior to joining Aloha Airlines, he was vice president of the Travel and Tourism Division of McNeil Wilson Communications, Inc., one of Hawaii’s largest public relations firms. Among the accounts he handled were the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau and Hawaiian Airlines.

Glauberman holds degrees in journalism and Asian studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and University of Hawaii.
