Vanguard Airlines Files Revised Application For Federal Loan Guarantee Assistance

Kansas City, MO—Vanguard Airlines, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VGDA) today confirmed it has filed a revised request with the Air Transportation and Stabilization Board (ATSB). The request is for a $35 million guarantee of a $40 million loan.

“We have revised our request in response to informal comments received from the ATSB regarding our prior applications,” said Scott Dickson, Chief Executive Officer and President of Vanguard Airlines. “It has been difficult for us at times to work through this process, shifting our application to meet the changing sensitivities of the ATSB. We believe we meet the criteria for a federal loan guarantee and that a Vanguard loan guarantee is clearly in the best interest of American taxpayers.”
