SWISS Collects for SOS Children’s Villages

SWISS is collecting for children in need. The airline is distributing envelopes on board its aircraft for passengers to donate coins and notes in any currency. All proceeds will go to the international charity, SOS Children’s Villages.

The campaign began on 1 September in line with an agreement with SOS Children’s Villages. The funds will allow this worldwide organisation to step up its aid to children in need, and, in particular, to offer them homes. SWISS expects to collect around CHF 300,000 to 400,000 per year. In-flight announcements will draw passengers’ attention to the campaign.
