Sue Underwood has been named as head of sales and marketing for bmibaby. Sue will take on responsibility for the role with immediate effect and will be working closely with Tony Davis, managing director to build on the success of bmibaby.
Sue joins the company from East Midlands Airport where she held the position of General Manager - Marketing and steered the airport through the phase of the introduction of low-cost carriers. Sue first joined the Airport 15 years ago as Marketing and External Relations Manager and has previously held Sales Manager roles in the travel industry and was General Manager for a Travel Agency.

As bmibaby is a relatively new brand the greatest challenge will be to establish the brand and product offer throughout the UK.
