Delta Air Lines Extends Popular Sale for Travel to Europe, India, the Caribbean

Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) today announced it is extending its “really big” sale for travel at exceptional discounts to destinations in Europe, India and the Caribbean. The special fares are available for travel in the Coach cabin or in Business Class. Tickets now can be purchased through Aug. 10, 2002 for travel to Europe and India, and through Aug. 13, 2002 for travel to the Caribbean.
“Customers with flexible travel plans have shown an overwhelming response to these discounted Coach and Business class fares,” said Harlan Bennett, Delta’s vice president - Revenue Management. “For vacationing travelers who have never experienced Delta’s premium BusinessElite service before, the opportunity to do so at generous savings has been just extended. Some of our Business class sale fares are as much as $6,000 off the full round-trip price.”


These sale fares require advance purchase, have minimum and maximum stays and are nonrefundable. Travel must originate in the United States.
