America West Airlines Promotes Andrew Nocella To Vice President

America West Airlines today announced
the election of Andrew Nocella to vice president, route planning and
scheduling.  Nocella joined the Airline in April 1997 as senior director,
route planning and scheduling, and is responsible for fleet assignment,
schedule planning, new market assessments and long-range planning.
 
“This promotion reflects Andrew`s contributions in executing the Company`s
business and strategic growth plans.  He has been a valuable resource to our
improved revenue management and planning team, and has added significant value
to the Airline,” said Doug Parker, executive vice president.  “As we continue
the Airline`s growth, Andrew will lead the development of market and schedule
planning.”

Prior to joining America West, Nocella served for three years with
Continental Airlines in schedule and route planning and for five years with
AVMARK Inc. Airline Consulting Group as an aviation analyst.
 
Nocella holds a bachelor`s degree in decision sciences from George Mason
University, Fairfax, Virginia.

recorded in the Air Travel Consumer Report published by the U.S. Department of
