The Aer Lingus Board at its regular meeting, today, June 29th, appointed a sub-committee to manage the process of recruiting a Group Chief Executive.
The Board also appointed Mr John O`Donovan as Acting Group Chief Executive in addition to his current positions as Group Finance Director and Company Secretary, pending the appointment of a new Group Chief Executive.

Mr O`Donovan was appointed Group Finance Director in February 1995 and is a member of the Aer Lingus Board.
